A little bit about us...


Fresh & Wild Catering's Head Chef and founder Carl Charman has been in the catering industry for over 30 years. He started his career being trained by Albert Clark and Mark Broadbent in the well known 192 restaurant in Kensington Park Road, and sister restaurant the Groucho Club. Working nearby and buying fresh produce daily from the Portobello Road market gave Carl both his love of food and his passion for fresh ingredients from around the world.
Over the next period of Carl's career, he worked in many fine dining restaurants, gastro pubs and private members clubs, including Mortons in Berkeley Square and The Cobden private members club. Alongside this, Carl also worked with private catering companies whose clients included Mario Testino, Clarence House, Cadogan Hall, Yves St Laurent, Calvin Klein and many more renowned fashion brands. During this time, Carl was also cooking for well-known names including Sir Paul McCartney, Jennifer Lopez and Keira Knightley, to name a few. He has provided catering and home ec within the TV industry, working for Netflix, as well as TV series Grantchester and The Apprentice.
This wealth of knowledge, variety and experience led to the next logical step in Carl's career in 2021, which was to form his own private catering business where he could be his most creative, bringing to fruition his clients' ideas for their events, whether large or small, intimate or formal, from start to finish.
Fresh & Wild Catering was born.

We care about our planet. For this reason Fresh & Wild Catering aim to be operating sustainably and ethically at every level. We use fresh, locally sourced produce where possible, recyclable and compostable materials in place of plastic where we can, and are always looking for ethical companies for our supplies to minimise waste and reduce our carbon footprint.
